{"id":12210,"date":"2017-01-24T16:55:24","date_gmt":"2017-01-24T16:55:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rocksushi.org\/rocksushi\/?p=12210"},"modified":"2017-01-24T16:55:24","modified_gmt":"2017-01-24T16:55:24","slug":"irish-meatloaf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rocksushi.org\/rocksushi\/irish-meatloaf\/","title":{"rendered":"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rocksushi.org\/rocksushi\/funkiesearch?id=184\">  Irish meatloaf  <\/a>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rocksushi.org\/rocksushi\/funkiesearch?id=184\"><br \/>\nIrish meatloaf<br \/>\n184<br \/>\nIngredients<\/p>\n<p>3\/8 (10 ounce) package drained spinach<br \/>\n8 (10 ounce) package drained spinach 1 teaspoon butter<br \/>\n1\/3 cup sliced mushrooms<br \/>\n2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons chopped onion<br \/>\n2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons fine dry bread crumbs<br \/>\n5 ounces ground beef<br \/>\n2-1\/2 ounces lean ground pork<br \/>\n1\/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese<br \/>\n3 tablespoons dry bread crumbs<br \/>\n3\/8 egg<br \/>\n3\/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1\/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper<br \/>\n1 tablespoon chopped celery<br \/>\n3\/8 egg<br \/>\n1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon parsley<br \/>\n1\/8 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n3\/8 pinch ground black pepper<br \/>\n3\/8 pinch ground nutmeg<br \/>\nPreheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Make the filling: Coarsely chop the spinach, and place in a large bowl; set aside. Heat butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Saute mushrooms and onion until onion is translucent. Transfer mushroom mixture to bowl with spinach. Mix in 1\/2 cup bread crumbs, 1 egg and parsley. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. <\/p>\n<p>STEP2:<br \/>\nIn a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, Cheddar cheese, 1\/2 cup bread crumbs, celery,1 egg. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Place meat mixture between two sheets of waxed paper, and roll into a rectangle approximately 18&#215;8 inches. Remove top sheet. Spread spinach mixture evenly over meat, leaving a 1\/2 inch border. Roll up meat from the short end in jelly-roll style, lifting and removing paper as you go. <\/p>\n<p>STEP3:<br \/>\nPlace loaf into an 8&#215;4 inch loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until browned and juices run clear. Serve hot or cold.
