{"id":11815,"date":"2017-01-22T14:51:56","date_gmt":"2017-01-22T14:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rocksushi.org\/rocksushi\/?p=11815"},"modified":"2017-01-22T14:51:56","modified_gmt":"2017-01-22T14:51:56","slug":"highlander","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rocksushi.org\/rocksushi\/highlander\/","title":{"rendered":"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rocksushi.org\/\/funkiesearch\/?id=10\">Onion steak<\/a>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rocksushi.org\/\/funkiesearch\/?id=9\">Onion steak<br \/>\n10<br \/>\nIngredients<\/p>\n<p>1 pound ground beef<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n1\/8 teaspoon ground black pepper<br \/>\n1\/4 cup bread crumbs<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon onion powder<br \/>\n2 tablespoons all-purpose flour<br \/>\n1 cup beef broth -tablet<br \/>\n1 tablespoon cooking sherry<br \/>\n1 tablespoon chopped celery<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon seasoned salt<br \/>\n1 tablespoon vegetable oil<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon garlic powder<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon seasoned salt<br \/>\n1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce<br \/>\n1 cup thinly sliced onion<br \/>\nIn a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into 8 balls, and flatten into patties. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties and onion in the oil until patties are nicely browned, about 4 minutes per side. Remove the beef patties to a plate, and keep warm. Sprinkle flour over the onions and drippings in the skillet. Stir in flour with a fork, scraping bits of beef off of the bottom as you stir. Gradually mix in the beef broth and sherry. Season with seasoned salt. Simmer and stir over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, until the gravy thickens.
