Peel onions in thin slices. Put in pan sprinkle over 1 tablespoon of sugar add 1/2 L water and cook onions on medium heat till onions are very soft -20 minutes. Make balls: mix through vegetarian meat , eggs, celery, potato, onion, salt and pepper; make little balls. Add to onions 1 L water, lemonjuice and 4 spoons of sugar. Heat till boiling, reduce heat to just boiling; add balls and let simmer for 40 minutes. Taste sauce from time to time.Balls should be just covered by sauce.If necessary add water.Serve and preferably keep mini-balls warm. Enjoy!
