1 pound okra
1 clove garlic
1 pound ground meat
parsely
nutmeg to taste
3 tablespoons chickpea flour
oil
1 1/4 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger
2 green chili’s
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
salt pepper
1 teaspoon red chilipowder
1 teaspoon curry (garam masala)
1/2 teaspoon curry (chaat masala)
1/2 teaspoon mangopowder
Mix groundbeef with parsley, nutmeg, garlic. Fry over high heat till done in 10 minutes. Cut top and bottom off of okra and cut them in 4 slices on a plate and sprinkle with salt, chilipowder,parsley, curry, mangopowder; turn around , dividing spices evenly. Throw the chickpea flour over slices make sure its covered on all sides; divide in two portions. Fry beef in pan; stir for 5 more minutes over medium heat; at the same time heat oil in pan, put in a portion of okra and use fork to keep them apart. Remove from oil when crispy and brown.Fry all (2) portions keep warm. Mix okra with beef and serve right away. Bon appetit!
