KC and the Sunshine Band is an American R’n’B and funk band
The band was founded in 1973 in Hialeah, Florida.
They own some of the most played and known (party) songs around, even more, they are groovy and timeless.
Numerous samples of their tunes spin have been used.
The band got its name from singer/writer Harry Wayne Casey.
“I’m not a charity case here. Don’t tell me something’s great and you’re not behind it. If it’s not great, I want to know so I can make it great.”
For studio tigers: all their known songs were recorded on 8-track.
I’m your boogie man that’s what I am
I’m here to do whatever I can
Be it early mornin’ late afternoon
Or at midnight it’s never too soon
To wanna please you, to wanna please you
To wanna do it all all for you
I wanna be your be your rubber ball
I wanna be the one, ya love most of all – oh yeah
I’m your boogie man I’m your boogie man
Turn me on
I’m your boogie man I’m your boogie man
Do what you want
I’m your boogie man I’m your boogie man
Turn me on
I’m your boogie man I’m your boogie man
Do what you want
I’m your boogie man that’s what I am
I’m here to do whatever I can
Be it early mornin’ late afternoon
Or at midnight it’s never too soon
To wanna take, you to wanna hold you
I wanna give me all all to you
And I want you to completely understand
Just where I’m at and where I am – oh yeah
I’m your boogie man that’s what I am
I’m here to do whatever I can

Or at midnight it’s never too soon
I wanna be with you I wanna be with you
Yeah we’ll be together you and me
I wanna see you ah get near you
I wanna love you ah from sundown sun up
I’m your boogie man that’s what I am
I’m here to do whatever I can
Be it early mornin’ late afternoon
Or at midnight it’s never too soon
To wanna please you to wanna hold you
To wanna do it all all for you
I wanna be you be your rubber ball
I wanna be the one ya love most of all
I’m your boogie man
