about The JAM

Legendaric band with great songs from the UK
-Keen eye for social realism without symbolizing and hiding their criticism too much.
-The river is called the Wey.
-It runs From ´Woking´ under London all the way up to the magnificent Thames.

“A lot of young artists and musicians that we work with, you think they’re gonna want to come in and buy the rock star-looking leather jacket – but they want a suit.”

Music in Poetry,Poetry in music

Tale from the riverbank

Bring you a tale from the pastel fields
Where we ran when we were young
This is a tale from the water meadows
spreading love and joy into your heart

Mixed with happiness its mixed with tears
Both life and death are carried in this stream
That open space you could run for miles
A place of hope in an endless time

Truest of dreams I live in a wonder
The bride as this seems the spell I am under
I always run to
Wont you join me by the riverbank
Come on and join me by the riverbank

Paradise found down by the still waters
Joined in the race to the rainbows end
No fears to worrie just a golden country
Woke at sunrise, went home at sunset

The magical weavin´ when you start to believe it
The magic between us the magic of innocence

Truest of dreams I live and I wonder
The brightest it seems the spell I am under
Truest of dreams I live and I wonder
The bride as it seems I always hang on to
I always run to
Wont you join me by the riverbank
Come on and join me by the riverbank
